Laura was elected as President of Water Polo West in September 2024. She first joined the board as a director in 2023. Laura was integral to the formation of  Water Polo West in 2018 and previously served as President of  Pacific Storm Water Polo Club.

Dante previously served as President of UBC Water Polo Club and remains a member of the club. Dante was first elected to the Water Polo West Board of Directors in 2022.

Helena was elected to the Water Polo West Board of Directors in 2023 after a long period serving as President of Vancouver Vipers Water Polo Club. Helena was part of the leadership group that founded Water Polo West in 2018. Helena was re-elected to the WPW Board in 2025.

Matthew was elected to the Water Polo West Board of Director in 2023 and re-elected in 2025. Matthew Halajian joined the national team program in 2010 and was a member of the squad that competed at the World Championships in 2015 and 2017. He was also on the team that competed at the  World League Super Final in 2019.

Nick was elected to the Water Polo West Board of Directors in 2024. Currently he is playing for the Whiskey Jacks Water Polo Club as a competitive player, including traveling with the team to several tournaments most notably winning the Silver medal at the 2023 Gay Games in Guadalajara, Mexico. Nick has played at various levels of water polo in Canada. 

Agathi was elected to the Water Polo West Board of Directors in 2025. She is a water polo parent and legal professional. Over the last year, Agathi has been actively involved with the Pacific Storm U14 team as a team manager, traveling extensively with the athletes to competitions throughout BC, Alberta, Seattle, and California.
