I happily split my work days between my two jobs as a high school teacher and the Anti-doping Director of the International Triathlon Union. I have been involved with triathlon for 35 years and I have officiated at four Olympic Games and one Paralympic Games as well as numerous World Championships, Commonwealth and Pan American Games. I hope to help develop water polo within the province while providing all stakeholders with positive leadership during my tenure as President of Water Polo West.
I currently work as a judicial law clerk at the Court of Appeal for British Columbia. I have been involved in sports for as long as I have been able to run – competing in multiple sports as a youth and football at the collegiate level. I want to help Water Polo West develop into an efficient and methodical organization and increase participation in the sport.
I am work for LUSH Cosmetics helping them to reduce their environmental impact of their Manufacturing facilities in Vancouver. I've participated in sports all my life, both competitive and recreational. I was excited to join Water Polo West to help get the organization off the ground and support the strategic direction to grow the sport in BC.
I'm an alumna of Calgary Renegades, Toronto Mavericks, and UBC Water Polo, where I was President for three years. I work at the UBC Faculty of Medicine in Research and Development, primarily as a project manager and writer. Though I've retired from playing, I am very grateful for my decade in water polo, and hope to help boost polo opportunities for girls, women, and adults in general, across the province.
