Water Polo West wishes to advise all our members that Christina Kouvousis has been offered an exciting position at UBC Aquatics and that she has accepted the role. Christina is keen to continue her work with the Provincial Training Centre/Team BC program under a contract. This is excellent news as we have recently selected training squads for Team BC and have training times booked in preparation for attending the National Championships in early July.
Christina's impact on Water Polo West has been substantial since joining the organization in January 2020. Most notably, this includes leading the launch of the Provincial Training Centre and the re-formation of Team BC. Her impact has also been felt in all areas of sport development and members services.
Christina's responsibilities in member services, coach development, & officials development will now immediately transfer to the Executive Director.
