This year, the NDC has a significant role in the Water Polo Canada selection process.

Athletes aiming to be selected for Age Group National Teams much register and attend their province’s NDC. This includes all athletes who have already received invitation letters to the WPC Rising Stars Camps.

Curriculum and evaluation standards for training at the NDC will be outlined by Water Polo Canada. This information will be published by WPC on October 1, 2025.

Water Polo West selection criteria and processes can be found in this document. These will be used to select teams for the Canadian Championships (formally known as the National Provincial Championships). Details of WPW’s technical and tactical criteria will be aligned with WPC and will be published after the release of the WPC curriculum.

Starting in January, there will be stricter requirements to register for the NDC. These will be officially communicated later in the fall and will include recommendations from home club coaches, club attendance, and a clean behaviour record for the season so far.

For the fall NDC, registration is open until September 30. (This has been adjusted to align with WPC camp acceptance date.)*However, athletes must be registered before their group's first session. Register in RAMP with this link.

Coaching at the NDC is led by Branko Pekovic, supported by assistant coaches from throughout BC.

Coming soon – information and registration for additional NDC sessions in Kamloops October 18 & 19.
